ADGA is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to provide the services of a subject matter expert (SME), supporting all systems engineering requirements for our client:

Duties will include:

• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with all project stakeholders to gather and analyze operational requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system requirements that guide the design and development process.
• System Design: Participate in the design and development of systems architecture and subsystems, which includes defining system components, interfaces, and interactions to ensure they align with operational requirements.
• Integration and Testing: Oversee the integration of various subsystems and components to ensure they function together seamlessly as a cohesive system. Also conduct integration testing to verify system performance and interoperability.
• Verification and Validation: Develop and execute verification and validation plans to ensure that the system meets specified requirements and performs as expected under various operational scenarios.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess technical risks associated with system design, integration, and operation, and develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues that could impact project success.

• Must hold a valid PSPC Secret level clearance.
• Consultants – need to be registered with the Controlled Goods Program, and Employees will have it processed by ADGA.
• Will be international travel involved. (must have a valid Passport to work on contract)
• Must have Engineering Bachelor’s degree in software, computer, systems, electrical or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR. (will need copy)
• Minimum of 5 years (60 months) of demonstrated experience as a System Engineer on Military C4ISR systems. (Command, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance)
• Minimum of 8 years (96 months) of demonstrated experience within the last 10 years (120 months) in the preparation of technical documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Info Technology/Info Management or Engineering experience.
• Minimum of 8 years (96 months) of demonstrated experience in each of the assessment area’s criteria:
  • Communiquer les cadres/stratégies de la technologie de l'information à la direction et au personnel technique.

  • Providing advice, guidance, and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-marking of senior management.

  • Performing strategic, operations or tactical planning for projects or systems to meet corporate strategy.

• Minimum of 6 years (72 months) of demonstrated experience within the last 8 years (96 months) in system engineering in a minimum of 4 of this assessment area’s criteria below:
  • Expérience professionnelle avérée en matière d'ingénierie des systèmes, dans l'analyse, la conception et/ou la mise en œuvre de solutions dans un ou plusieurs des domaines suivants : 
    •  Systèmes de communication et d'information de commandement et de contrôle dans un environnement de plate-forme distribuée. 
    • Systèmes de communication et d'information de commandement et de contrôle dans un environnement client/serveur. 
    • Systèmes militaires ISTAR. 
    • des solutions d'interopérabilité C4ISR interarmées ou alliées utilisant les accords de normalisation de l'OTAN ; et 
    • Solutions de gestion de systèmes (outils et processus) pour les systèmes de communication et d'information et/ou les systèmes ISTAR. 
  • Expérience professionnelle avérée dans l'intégration, la vérification et la validation de systèmes, pour les composants matériels et logiciels (COTS et/ou développés sur mesure) dans des systèmes nouveaux ou existants. 
  • Demonstrated systems engineering experience working on communication and information systems (Hardware, Software and Network) or Specialty engineering (Security, Modeling, Simulation, STAR). 
  • Expérience professionnelle avérée en ingénierie système dans un environnement de systèmes en temps réel ou distribués. 
  • Expérience professionnelle avérée dans la gestion du cycle de vie des systèmes de communication et d'information, ou des systèmes ISTAR.
