Caroline will be the first to tell you that she is not a perfect leader and nor does she aspire to be one, but that she is highly conscious of the need to challenge her thinking and the wake that she leaves as a leader. With over 25 years of experience in both the hi-tech and defence sectors, Caroline Tylko is passionate about developing HR solutions that reflect at their core a deep appreciation for the relationship between people and business. This balance, coupled with her hands-on experience in all HR disciplines is evidenced in her vision and delivery of complex programs and multi-dimensional systems throughout her career.
Most recently as Director, Global Total Rewards, Mobility and Systems for General Dynamics Mission Systems-International, she completed the design and implementation of the global organizational and compensation structure, providing a universal foundation for key elements such as talent acquisition and development, total rewards, and strategic resource planning.
Prior to joining General Dynamics Mission Systems–International 14 years ago, Caroline held progressive positions as Divisional VP HR and Corporate Sr. Director Global Compensation at Spirent Communications. She’s also held a series of key HR roles at Newbridge Networks, the Grace Maternity/IWK Hospital, and Reader’s Digest. She has a B.A. in Communication Studies from Concordia University and is an avid reader and continuous learner.
Her colleagues call her Cat, but she’ll quickly tell you she’s a dog lover.
