ADGA Has Committed to Achieving Net-Zero Emissions by 2050

At ADGA Group, we understand that our expert capabilities, advanced technologies and agile solutions must be delivered in environmentally responsible, sustainable ways. As we support and protect our clients’ most critical systems, so too are we mindful of the need to value and protect our planet, its inhabitants, and its finite resources.

In 2024, we accepted the Government of Canada’s Net-Zero Challenge, a voluntary initiative that encourages businesses to develop and implement credible and effective plans to transition their facilities and operations to net-zero emissions by 2050.

ADGA hereby commits to Net-Zero by 2050.

We are pleased to report that emissions under Scope 1 of the planned requirements have achieved and are maintaining zero emissions (0 tCo2e).

Overall (Scope 1, Scope 2, Scope 3), ADGA’s Net-Zero Challenge Plan includes commitments to:

• meticulously track and categorize our emissions

• reduce emissions, engage employees in energy-saving practices, and implement sustainable initiatives

• achieve carbon neutrality by offsetting remaining emissions and implementing energy-efficient measures

• regularly monitor and report progress, engage suppliers in emission reduction efforts, and promote eco-friendly practices

• include financial disclosure, risk assessment, reporting frameworks, and verification and assurance measures

Specifically, ADGA has identified the following Scope 2 and Scope 3 targets to achieve Net-Zero emissions:

• reduce electricity consumption by 10% by 2030, compared to the emissions baseline established in 2024.

• achieve carbon neutrality by offsetting all remaining Scope 2 emissions that cannot be reduced through efficiency measures or renewable energy procurement a date will be set once ADGA’s analyze data from the coming years based on the settlement of the new office location and offset measures available.

• engage 80% of employees in energy-saving practices by 2025, such as using energy-efficient devices, minimizing standby power, and optimizing lighting and heating systems.

• implement real-time monitoring of electricity consumption for all offices by 2050 and provide reports on emissions reduction progress as part of ADGA’s Quarterly Business Report (QBR).

• reduce carbon emissions from corporate travel by 15% compared to a baseline year by 2030, by enforcing the use of more efficient transportation such as train and carpooling.

• increase by 15% the number of key suppliers committed with the reduction of carbon emissions by 2030. Prioritize suppliers with strong sustainability practices and explore options for local sourcing to minimize transportation emissions.

• achieve a 15% of offsetting from corporate travel by 2050.

• implement an employee commitment initiative related to Environment/Carbon Emission by 2025.

• implement a robust emissions 3 tracking system and report progress annually.

• continuously review and update sustainability goals to align with evolving best practices recommendations.

Specific actions linked to target dates are detailed in our plan. We will also continuously review and update our sustainability goals to align with evolving best practices and recommendations.
